Guided by her passion for problem solving and purposeful design, Julie has been working at the intersection of branding, print and digital design for over 15 years—11 of those years with the Liaison Design Group team.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design with a Minor in Business from Arizona State University, where she held her first graphic design role for the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement. While pursuing her degree, she participated in InnovationSpace, a cutting-edge interdisciplinary education program teaching business, design, sustainability, and engineering students how to develop products and bring them to market. Later earning an internship, and then a position, with Vestar Development, she worked with a team to develop and design for the new outdoor shopping mall, Tempe Marketplace.
Born in the DC area, polished in Arizona, and now rooted in Clayton, Julie has fallen in love with North Carolina from coast to mountains. When not designing or brainstorming her next project, Julie enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband, son and two dogs. You can often find her exploring one of the many North Carolina parks, pinning her next interesting dish to try, or on a weekend trip to somewhere new.
